Staying Healthy Amidst COVID-19

Hey everyone! How's everyone doing?  I can  imagine that many of you are full of mixed feelings, so I'm hoping  this blog will brighten your mood and continue to encourage you.  Health has various meanings  for each of us, so I hope to tackle the four main areas such as physical, social , mental and spiritual health.

Physical health
  • Try to stick to a regular eating pattern.

  • Have  some healthy snacks available such as fruits and nuts.

  • Stay hydrated.

  • Try to get your 30 minutes of activity indoors/outdoor  - e.g.walk, run, cycle e.t.c..

Social and Mental Health

  • Try to get a  daily source of fresh air.

  • Make a conscious effort to talk to someone regularly.

  • Connect with friends and family.

  • Use NHS support links if necessary.

Spiritual Health

  • Connect with your faith community.

  • Read books/chapters which will uplift and renew your mind.

  • Pray regularly and take part in activities which will strengthen your faith.
